4. Memberships

CPATaxBuddy.com maintains a membership based web site that contains content and offers accounting, tax and business answers to appeal to the individual and/or small business owner. To become a member, you must have Internet access, a valid U.S. credit card with available funds, an email address and agree to provide us with complete and accurate information, and succesfully complete the registration process.

By starting the CPATaxBuddy.com membership, you are expressly agreeing that we are authorized to charge you a monthly membership fee at the current rate plan to the payment method you provided during registration. The membership fee will be billed at the start of each billing period and each month thereafter unless you cancel your membership. Memberships terms and pricing are subject to change at any time and without notice, and can be found on our "Plans & Pricing" page. All fees and charges are considered fully earned upon receipt of payment.

CPATaxBuddy.com provides an online resource to assist its members with questions related to accounting, tax, personal finance and business matters of the type that would typically be asked of an accountant or a business consultant. CPATaxBuddy.com, through its representatives, responds to those questions posed by members normally within one business day, however, there is no assurance that every question can or will be answered within that time frame.

The scope of the CPA Tax Buddy service is generally limited to responses that can be provided by an accountant or business consultant with no more than one hour’s research into the specific subject matter. Our service is not intended to provide in-depth research that would be provided by an in-person meeting with an accounting professional or business consultant. The service is intended to provide general information, specifically: guidance, feedback and suggestions on finding solutions. Our representatives conduct limited research in order to respond to specific questions. Questions that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be beyond the scope of this service, including questions related to medium to large sized businesses, not for profit organizations or governmental agencies, are outside of the scope of our services and may go unanswered.

Members who ask questions do so with the understanding that responses are provided based on the knowledge and experience of the representative answering the question and may reflect the opinions of the responding representative. Some questions have no clear or definitive answer and any response will be based on the judgment and opinion of the responding representative. Questions are also subject to misinterpretation, and due to the nature of our online service, our representatives are not able to review all of the relevant facts. Therefore, CPATaxBuddy.com cannot and does not warrant that its answers are “correct”. In fact, CPATaxBuddy.com acknowledges that its responses may contain errors or may misinterpret the question that was asked. There is a further risk that reference materials to which we refer a member relative to a particular subject matter may contain inaccurate material. The member asking the question is ultimately responsible for assessing the validity and applicability of the response before using the information provided in the response.

Information furnished by CPATaxBuddy.com and its representatives is intended for general information purposes only. Our service is not intended to replace an in-person meeting with an accounting professional or business consultant. Member is encouraged to verify the information furnished by CPATaxBuddy.com and its representatives. Any reliance on such information is done at the member's full and sole risk and liablity.

CPATaxBuddy.com does not provide legal advice. If member asks questions that request such advice, our representatives may provide suggestions for reading material that may assist the member in better understanding the subject matter. Such suggestions and/or referrals to other web sites are not to be considered as legal advice. Legal matters should be referred to a competent attorney.
